Position Includes:

• Free membership to all Lincoln YMCA locations
• Gaining real-life experience in a marketing department that serves four membership facilities, a resident summer camp, a Youth Sports division, the city of Lincoln and its surrounding communities.
• Facilitating all Lincoln YMCA social media platforms and helping deploy new content and strategies.
• Maintaining and optimizing content for the Lincoln YMCA website
• Works with all Lincoln YMCA branches to help disseminate information to members and program participants.
• Flexible schedule – 10 hours per week. Work hours are flexible and will be completed on-site at the Administrative/Metro offices located in Fallbrook Town Center with support at our YMCA facilities as needed. A mutually agreeable work schedule will be created upon selection of the right candidate.
• $16.00 per hour

Knowledge & Skills:

• 1-2 years of completed coursework in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, graphic design or a similar discipline. Photography and video editing skills a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of social media and prior experience in utilizing social media for business purposes.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong proofreading and grammar skills
• Ability to gain the knowledge necessary to possess a strong understanding of the YMCA’s style guide/brand standards.
